From a simple 1D Solution with a sensor mounted to the blade and using manual blade control to Dual GNSS Automatic control, Accurate Laser Systems can assist you with all your machine control needs. |
1D Control - Elevation Leica PowerBlade system or a Spectra Precision Control Box and Laser Receiver can greatly increase efficiency when grading. They can also be used in many other applications including, scraper/earthmover, box blade, trencher or tile plow.
2D Control - Elevation & Tilt Leica iCON iGD2 system for dozers can dramatically increase machine utilization, productivity and optimize material usage on any earthmoving and fine-grading contract. It can be used with a wide range of sensors and combines ease-of-use, unrivalled flexibility with very powerful and intuitive user interface.
3D Control - Elevation, Tilt & Position 3D Automatic control is achieved by adding positioning to the dozer. This is done by either adding a Leica GPS82 and GNSS Antennas or using a Robotic Total Station with a mast mounted prism to track the machine on the jobsite.
3D tolerances of a half/tenth of a foot is common with GNSS while tolerances of 1/16” are possible with TPS Technology. |

(Automatic Control) |
Leica iCON iGD2 Co-Pilot System (Automatic Control) SP14 Slope and blade pitch sensor mounted on backside of blade reads forward slope (elevation) & blade slope (Tilt). |
Leica iCON iGD2 Single Laser System (Automatic Control) Laser sensor mounted on manual/electric mast controls elevation. Blade slope sensor controls blade tilt. |
Leica iCON iGD2 Dual Laser System (Automatic Control) Laser sensors mounted on manual/electric masts control elevation of center of blade and elevation of a corner of blade, in turn creating blade slope (tilt).
This system also works well with dual position |
Leica iCON iGD3 Single GNSS System (Automatic Control) GNSS Antenna mounted on mast controls elevation of center of blade and knows GNSS Position of machine. Blade slope sensor controls blade tilt. |
Leica iCON GNSS Indicate System (Manual Control) Data collector gets mounted in cab along with iCG60 GNSS receiver. An auxiliary antenna is mounted on blade or above the cutting edge of scraper etc. Cuts and Fills will be displayed on screen of data collector. |
Leica iCON iGD4 Dual GNSS System (Automatic Control) GNSS antennas mounted on masts control elevation of each side of blade and GNSS position of the machine. |
Leica iCON iGD3 TPS System (Automatic Control) Prism mounted on mast in center of blade controls elevation and robotic total station tracks the prism to know position. Slope sensor controls tilt of blade. |
